My friend who is visiting Holland is in the mood for cooking and baking, I love when she does that but we have a problem finding: baking powder, oatmeal and jalapeno pepper jelly. Maybe you know a culinary disctionary?

I never heard about jalapeno pepper jelly but the name of the baking powder is bakpoeder and you will find it in every supermarket.

Oatmeal is havermoutmeel, you can probably find it in a natuurwinkel or reformwinkel. Or go to a windmill that grinds flour like www.korenmolendeleeuw.nl in Lettele near Deventer (combined with a nice sightseeing trip!)

Thank you Deb and Sara for the info too. Btw, jalapeno pepper is a spicy pepper jelly that tastes delicious jelly with roasted meats or chicken.

If you have access to a Makro or Sligro or know someone who does, they tend to have a small international section. In my local one they regularly stock things like Duncan Hines mixes, Skippy peanut butter, cooking supplies and plain old marshmallows. So you might like to try there as well.
