In case there is enough time to cook, enough people to take care of the food, and ..., you may want to try Turducken.

Thank you Caroline for the recipe.
It would be nice if you have time to add a discussion and then copy paste the recipe you just added. I can do it too if you want me to but I think it's nicer the other way :-)

West African Peanut Soup (6- 8 bowls)

2 cups chopped onions
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp cayenne
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
1 cup roughly chopped carrots
2 cups chopped sweet potatoes (or 1 cup potatoes and 1 cup sw. potatoes)
4 cups Veg broth (can use veg. bouillon cube)
2 cups tomato juice (can replace with jar tomato paste and water)
1 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
chopped chives (optional as garnish)

Sauté onions. Add ginger and cayenne
Add carrots and sauté, mix in potatoes
Add stock and bring to a gentle boil.
then turn heat down and simmer 15 mins.
Blend/puree vegetables.
Add tomato juice and p. butter
Adjust seasoning to taste

Sorry for the imperial measures: 1 cup = 227 ml

Yep. Nice. We have (yet) no Dutch recipe.. I remember I had once a very nice meal, something with pears - stofperen or whatever is the name - and beef - delicious! But I have no recipe for it..

Perfect timing Christina. I was just thinking about making a group like this myself.

Stand by for my first recipe!

Great idea! I'll try to put something myself when I got some more time. One suggestion - maybe we can put the names of the product also in Dutch (if possible)? We have to buy it in Dutch shops:-)
