Did you know that a Dutch company SPRANQ from Utrecht has developed a new font that it says cuts ink usage by about 15 percent?
In essence, the "Ecofont" has little holes in the letters. "After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well." It looks like that:

You can download it here for free. Once you have downloaded Ecofont you can install the font into your local fonts folder. The Ecofont is based on an Open Source font and is free to use. Please note: The font is called Spranq_eco_sans_regular.ttf.

SPRANQ offers also Ecofont Professional Edition: every corporate typeface can be adjusted.

Well isn't this a sign of the times.
Graphic Design goes green and it goes lean.
